Is split.rs free?
Yes, completely free, with no limit on groups or expenses. The service is supported by QuickBooks.rs and Tau Commerce.
Do I need an account?
No. Create a group, add the members’ names and share the group link. That’s it.
Who can see my group’s expenses?
Only people you send the group link to. The link is long and random, so nobody can guess it.
How is “who owes whom” calculated?
For each member we add up what they gave and their share of the expenses. The difference is their balance, and the app suggests the fewest payments that settle everyone.
Can I split an expense unequally?
Yes. Split equally among everyone or just some, by exact amounts per person, or by shares — for example by nights stayed.
Which currencies are supported?
Serbian dinar (RSD) and euro (EUR). The currency is chosen per group.
What if someone paid back only part of a debt?
Record the payment with the actual amount. The remaining debt goes down automatically.
